Numedico is thrilled to announce a new collaboration with V3Bio, a company based in Malaysia developing some of the world’s most innovative technology that focuses on wound management and infection control. Introducing Electrocyn, a series of products containing Hypochlorous acid or HOCl which is an antimicrobial component that is naturally produced in our own body to fight against invading pathogen in our body.

What is Electrocyn Omnia?

Electrocyn Omnia is a broad-spectrum disinfectant made of hypochlorous acid (HOCL) that is safe to use. HOCL is a naturally found chemical in our white blood cells, that is used to kill bacteria and other pathogens. Using advanced technology to generate a stabilised HOCL from salt solution, Electrocyn Omnia is effective in killing a broad range of bacteria and viruses.

How can it be used?

Electrocyn Omnia can be sprayed directly on surfaces and wiped down after couple of minutes. Studies have shown that 99.9% of pathogens can be killed within 1 minute of contact time with the solution. Due to its excellent safety profile, this solution can also be used to disinfect a room by fogging or misting.

How does it work against bacteria and viruses?

Electrocyn Omnia works by rupturing the membrane of a microbial cell, creating an osmotic shock to kill them. The solution has a neutral charge, attracting negatively charged bacterial cells and has an ability to penetrate inside the cells, resulting in rapid killing.

Is it safe to use?

Yes, while effective at killing harmful pathogens, Electrocyn Omnia is safe for humans and the environments. It does not cause skin or eye irritation and remains non-toxic when inhaled. The solution is biodegradable, making it an environmentally friendly product too!

Why is it better than other disinfectants?

Frequent use of certain disinfectants has led to resistance in pathogen’s sensitivity, making them harder to kill.
